Custom horse hair raku ornament

A horsehair raku pottery ornament features a distinctive surface texture created by dragging horsehair strands across the clay while it is still hot, leaving behind unique patterns. The horse hair pattern varies from piece to piece, making each ornament unique and one of a kind.  This type of pottery is left unglazed and a polish is applied to exterior to provide finish.  Pictured is an example of a completed ornament, each custom ornament will vary is design, which makes them unique. 

Custom ornament includes use of horse hair provided by purchaser.  Once hair is received, allow 2-4 weeks for the ornament to be completed.
